Set Apart has been reunited!
Oh the joys of reconnecting after two, eventful years. Deb was working at Hillcrest in Arkansas for a little over 2 years. While she was gone, Charissa worked in Virginia at Faith Mission Home for a year. Shortly after her return to Ohio, she was married to Samuel Troyer and is now enjoying life as a house wife.
The day after Deb moved back to Ohio, a meeting was held. All agreed that pursuing the dream of recording once again was a challenge worth committing to. We only have a short 4 1/2 months before Austin leaves for IGO, and we are separated once again. With Justin making plans to move to VA this fall to work at Faith Mission Home, we really want to make good use of our time. We have kept the ole route between Antrim and Plain City hot with our weekly practice sessions.
These past 10 weeks have been rather intense for us. It has been challenging working around all the individual schedules. Finding the perfect day to record that worked for each of us and Dwayne at Kingdom Song Studio was particularly challenging.
But even in the midst of those challenges, we have had boat loads of fun. It has been such a blessing to be able to get together nearly every week and sing our hearts out. We have had many laughing moments and also serious moments as we share with each other.
Please keep us in your prayers. Our first recording date is this Saturday (June 14th). We have 8 songs ready to record and a few more very close. It's going to be quite the day. Hopefully we can stay focused and get a lot accomplished. We are planning a second recording session for August to record the final songs before we are once again separated.
